Sifterr app review: make sense of your photos

Reviews

Introduction

The great thing about mobile devices is the ability to take all kinds of photos; however, this also acts as a negative when you suddenly have hundreds of photos to browse through. The Sifterr app can be used on your iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone as a way to organize all your photos so that finding what you want is easy and fast. The app makes it possible to create tags that make sense so that searching for particular shots is a breeze.

Assign Tags to Organize

Thanks to the Sifterr app, no more will you need to deal with browsing through hundreds of photos just to find those couple you want. Instead you can organize your photos by creating tags which work as photo albums so as you assign the photo a tag it automatically ends up in that folder. Give the photos tags such as your pet's name, your child's name, "cottage," "swimming," "vacation," or anything you want. If you’d rather, you can use more abstract ones such as nighttime, colorful pictures, black and white pictures; the tags are completely customizable. What's cool is that you don't have to limit the photo to one tag only you can add a few and then that photo will appear in each of the corresponding albums.

The best iPad apps for photo enhancing

In the app's recent update there were some improvements made such as larger screen sizes, the help function is clearer, and it now supports iOS 8.1. As of right now it doesn't have any customer comments or a customer rating.

Sorting Through the Photos

Using the Sifterr app couldn't be faster or easier. The way it works is that you first pick a tag and then the app will show you all the photos that have this tag attached to it. If you swipe to the left it means the tag doesn't apply, if you swipe to the right it does apply to the photo. You'll only need to do this once and the app will remember what you've sifted through. What's really cool is that once you've sifted through your photos you can then open them in any app, search for them using those tags, and edit them in other apps.

Best iphone and ipad apps

I think the biggest benefit in this app is just how user-friendly it is. You can tell plenty of thought has been put into it so that your role is very simple. It really does make accessing and browsing through your photos much easier.
