Slow Shutter! app review: a long-exposure photography tool 2021

Slow Shutter! is a camera app that will turn your iPhone or iPad into a long-exposure photography device. What we have here is a long exposure app that will enable you to create some beautiful photographs that only DSLRs could have accomplished until now.

This app for taking photos can be found in the Photo & Video section of the App Store, where it can be purchased for $1.99. Let's take a look at its features in our Slow Shutter app review.

Slow Shutter!

Simple and Intuitive

Slow Shutter! takes up just 1.5 MB of space on your iPhone or iPad, and its minimalism certainly boosts the user experience, which is intuitive and simple - no tutorial needed!

Day or night, this app will enable you to shoot some beautiful images, be it a light trail highway packed with cars or a landscape shot featuring waterfalls. No matter the setting, you will be sure to get some great full-resolution photographs.

Shooting the image is as simple as tapping the "shoot" button once to begin, and then again to complete the capturing process.

Shooting Modes

This app supports three modes of shooting. The first is the Auto mode, which will likely be the most common one for users. This is great for taking pictures of moving objects such as waterfalls and "ghost" photos.

The Light Trail mode is pretty self-explanatory; it'll help you take images of moving objects that are illuminated with light, such as vehicle lights at nighttime, fireworks, or even fireflies.

If you want to take regular photos but there isn't enough light in your setting, then Night mode is perfect, allowing you to take some beautiful images in low-light conditions.

Due to the low shutter speed, it's advisable that you use a tripod or other solid setting for your iPhone or iPad when using this app.
