How about a chance to take on a puzzle that is abstract, challenging, and addictive? The Shadowmatic app for your iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone provides players with an intriguing challenge that features silhouettes that are projected in shadows. There are over 70 levels of challenges to take on in this app, which pretty much means you've got hours' worth of fun ahead of you. It doesn't end there you're also in for some rather stunning graphics that make the game all the more fun.
If you're ready for an intriguing and challenging puzzle-based game then it's time to take on the Shadowmatic app. In this app you will be rotating a variety of abstract objects in front of a spotlight. The goal is to locate silhouettes that you can recognize in the projected shadows and they need to fit into the environment of the level. It's a wonderful combination of smooth and addictive gameplay mixed with graphics that are beautiful and almost mesmerizing. There are nine different environments and more than 70 levels to experience. The levels are all challenging in their own regard and there are all kinds of silhouettes you'll find.
The app has just been updated with some small bug fixes. After purchasing the app there are some in-app purchases that range in price from $0.99 to $7.99. The app currently has 4.5 out of five stars from users. Players have described it as clever, mesmerizing, and captivating. At the same time there seems to be a lack of direction and focus that users would like to see addressed.

Engaging Levels and Challenges
There are a number of features worth pointing out in the Shadowmatic app such as the fact it offers 3D parallax view, nonlinear level progression, fabulous colors, and plenty of interest. Each of the environments is unique with its own music and sound effects. Because some of the levels are extremely challenging you may want to make use of the hints. Once you use the hints though you won't have any more available unless you want to purchase them so you’ll want to use them sparingly.
I do get where users are coming from in that it would be nice to have a bit more directions given so it doesn't feel quite so random. It's also important to mention that you'll need more than 100MB available to download the app.
