Sort Your Facts

WorthIt will help you remember bars, restaurants, shops, entertainment, books, movies, music, brands, people, drinks, hotels, and miscellaneous items. The app has a location option, but it will continue to use your location whether you are currently in app or not, so if you don’t want it using your data in the background, make sure to shut it right down from the multitasking menu.

I really like the location option. It means that you can add a drink from a specific bar or restaurant. That you can remember a specific restaurant meal from that exact geographical location. Even people, if you want to remember a contact, you can add their information and the meeting location will be saved. If it’s a networking opportunity or a meeting of a new friend at your child’s soccer game, the location is there to help you remember with a photo option. Love it!

Filter

As mentioned above, WorthIt has a filter option into the categories which makes it much more efficient that apps such as Evernote. Don’t get me wrong, I love Evernote for tracking more involved documents, but WorthIt sorts into a select list for your social life. You could create the categories in Evernote, but I like WorthIt. It’s fun, has icons, and includes pictures in the cards. It’s like an index card file on your device.

I like the sorting system because you can sort by date, alphabetically, and the also provides a calendar view. If you remember that you went out to dinner with your friend on January 14th, then you can go back to the calendar view and scroll over to check what you needed to remember. I love how easy it is to input, and then sort, search, and even share privately.

Final Thoughts

WorthIt: Recall your favorite places, things and recommendations ! is an iPhone and iPad app that helps you jot down memories by location, including images, and has an easy-to-use private share option. The app is very versatile, and while I could just jot the notes in my Evernote account, I like this app and will be keeping it around. It has its own niche and I loved trying it out!
