There's no reason that kids need to get a knot in their stomach or stare at the page in confusion when it comes to math. The FINGER DRILL: MATH app for your iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone provides roughly 7,000 math questions that are meant to build your child's math skills. This app is ideal for kids ages four and up and is divided into different stages of difficulty so it grows as your child does. A Source of all Things Math

The FINGER DRILL: MATH app is a source for all things math-related. Through the questions in this app kids will be able to learn and brush up on all kinds of topics through a variety of math drills. Kids will be using their finger to key in their answers and with that said the app has handwriting recognition software. As kids manage to complete a theme they will then get a badge. There are six different stages in the app, they get harder as kids progress, and each stage has 10 themes.

The app requires iOS 7.0 or later to use and has just been updated with a bug fix that was affecting the push notification. The app doesn't yet have a customer rating or customer comments but it’s only a matter of times before parents discover this useful offering.

Become the God of Math

The goal of the FINGER DRILL: MATH app is to become the God of Math and this can only be achieved once kids complete all the themes and all the drills. There are two different modes of use which are the Speed Run Mode in which there is a time limit so kids need to move through the drills quickly and the Normal Mode where there is no time limit giving them the opportunity to work at their own pace. Topics include such things as subtraction, addition, multiplication, division, decimals, fractions, and plenty more. The stages start out simple enough and will gradually build in difficulty as they progress giving your child a chance to absorb and learn along the way.

The user interface doesn't contain much in terms of bells and whistles but instead it provides kids with a smooth, clean, and uncluttered approach. The app is very responsive when it comes to the handwriting recognition and kids will be able to navigate the menus with ease.
