The FairyTale Fiasco app is filled with royal and enchanted challenges that are sure to keep your child entertained. Kids will be working their way through the activity map that includes 16 levels of challenges in the Fix Them Heels factory, 10 different doctor scenes, over 20 tools that will treat the princesses so they can get to the ball right on time, and a number of cute rewards and tools. The app offers a child-friendly user interface with touch functionality so that kids can easily work their way through the activities.

The best fairy tale apps for iPad

FairyTale Fiasco is ideal for kids ages four and up and features a collection of princesses. These princesses are trying to win the affection of Prince Charming and need to make it to the castle in a hurry in order to do so. Where the obstacles lay is in the race to the castle because all the princesses are trying to eliminate each other so you need to step in and save each one.

Features That Stand Out

Parents will be able to download the FairyTale Fiasco app and enjoy it for free but there is quite a bit of content that requires in-app purchases. These range in price from $0.99 to $5.99. It seems as though parents are a bit mixed on this offering, giving it 3.5 out of five stars. It seems as though the concept is cute and fun but the storyline becomes a bit much as there as plenty of fighting between the princesses and parents don't like how much content needs to be purchased.

I will say that the graphics are fun and bright and will definitely appeal to kids. The activities are all easy to understand with child-friendly controls. There's also the fact that the activities offer a nice variety of content so they don't feel repetitive. It’s unfortunate that there is such an emphasis on fighting in this game as it really takes away from the child-friendliness of it.

Final Thoughts

The FairyTale Fiasco app for your iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone features a number of fun and lively aspects but the content is a bit questionable. This is one that adults will want to check out first before deciding it’s appropriate for young kids.
