Mom’s Daily Planner app review: become the most organized mom on the block
Introduction
The modern mother has so much going on at any given time it’s hard to keep everything straight. Many app developers have recognized Mom’s need to stay organized which has resulted in a whole category of apps dedicated to this task. There are a lot of options out there and some are definitely better than others. When choosing an app for organizing your life it’s best to look for one that’s easy to use but still has all the features you’re looking for. Mom’s Daily Planner has a great series of features and it’s about as easy to use as an app can be. This is a free app and it’s compatible with the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

Plan Your Week
With the range of choices in the scheduling and time management section of the App Store developers have to work hard to create apps that are going to attract attention. Mom’s Daily Planner app combines an excellent selection of features in a simple package that has to rate as one of the better efforts in this category you’ll come across. It really does live up to its title as Mom’s Daily Planner because it concentrates on features that are important to moms, although dads will probably find this app quite helpful as well!

The thing that strikes you first about this app is its unique layout. The different features are laid out in a color-coded wheel that’s pleasing to the eye and very practical as well. Some apps have a great set of features but turn users off because of their disjointed layout so it’s really refreshing when a developer gets this right. Unfortunately you will have to put up with some ads in the free versions and you’ll only have access to about half the features. Full access is available through an in-app purchase at a cost of $6.99. This app will require 25.7 MB of available space on your iOS device.
How it Works
The app is divided into six different sections: Shopping List, To Do List, Calendar, Chores, Sync iOS Devices, and Budget, but only the first three are available in the free version of the app. To access a feature you simply tap on its location on the wheel. You can return to the main menu any time by tapping on the home icon in the top left of the screen.
The best iPad apps for creating lists
The Shopping List lets you name your list and add as many items to the list as you like. To add an item you just tap on the document icon with the plus sign in the top right corner. The To Do list works much the same way but it’s divided into four different categories for organizational purposes: family, personal, work, and school. You can also organize your items by due date, open, or completed. The calendar app allows you to easily add events to your calendar such as birthdays and anniversaries. It all works quite well without any glitches.
