Reveal the Picture

There’s a lot to be said for apps that take you outside your comfort zone. We are creatures of habit, but what makes life interesting is when we decide to try something a little bit different. Crossword puzzles have always been popular whether in print form or in their digital form, but an app like Pictologic is a great alternative to this standard fair. The biggest problem with this app is that it’s loaded with ads. There are banner ads on every page and you will have to contend with full-paged ads in between games as well. They are easy to close though, so it’s not the most annoying use of advertisement that you might come across in an app. On the plus side Pictologic does feature a great tutorial that walks you through how to play the game step-by-step. This app will require 13.8 MB of available space on your iOS device.

How it Works

The object of this game is to tap on tiles in the correct sequence to reveal the picture below. In each column are numbered clues that reveal which tiles to tap on and in which sequence. This may sound pretty simple, but you’re on a timer that moves pretty fast, so you don’t have a lot of time to interpret the clues and take action. It’s a fast-paced action-packed puzzle that will challenge your reaction time.
