Fun Run

Price: Free

For: iPhone, iPod touch, iPad with iOS 4.3 or later

Fun Run by dirtyBit is a multiplayer race game for your iOS device.

You can play online and use crazy weapons like bombs, lightning, and blades, among other things, to help you win. Like in Mario Kart, you should collect the question marks as you go – but instead of harmless items you’ll get weapons to use to slow down or kill your opponents.

The game will put you up against three other players and you’ll race as a doe, bear, cat, turtle, or bunny.
Like mentioned, you can chuck some pretty nasty weapons at the other players, but be careful not to dawdle after you do it, and be careful, because that saw you fling might fly back and hit you.

If you want to be something other than the animal you’re given as default, you’ll have to earn coins, but you really don’t need to buy anything to play.

It must be said that this app is pretty gory. It is definitely not for young kids, because blood sprays everywhere when an animal is hurt or killed. There is no way to turn off the bloody effects and parents should be aware that the game is not recommended for kids under nine or maybe even older depending on the kid.

Fun Run was updated to Version 1.2 on December 15, 2012. The update gives you more coins for your value and allows you to login using Facebook. The current version has 3564 customer ratings with an average of four out of five stars.

This is a seriously fun but twisted game to play. I played it to day on the train and couldn’t stop laughing as I destroyed my opponents. If you have a dark and twisted competitive streak, you’ll like this game.
