Weight Watchers Mobile

Price: Free

For: iPhone, iPod touch, iPad with iOS 4.0 or later

Weight Watchers Mobile by Weight Watchers International, Inc. is an app for your iOS device that lets you take your Weight Watchers program anywhere you go.

Even non-members will get use of this app, with features available for use like recipes, meeting finders, shopping lists, and more. Members get access to the PointsPlus Tracker, Weight Tracker, Featured Recipes, Cheat Sheet, Online Community, Meeting Finder, and Shopping List.

If you’re using Weight Watchers to lose weight, make smart food choices, or otherwise improve your eating habits and activity levels, the app can help you with its interactive tools.

You can use Snap and Track to take a photo of your meal, share it, and track it, all at once. There are more than 150,000 recipes, foods, and meal ideas in this app, too.

If you need some inspiration when it comes to activity, the app can help with that, too. You can browse health and fitness content or just track your activity to find out how many points you’ve earned.
The app has an interactive chart that helps you track your weight-loss progress as well.

Users will probably spend the most time on the PointsPlus Tracker screen. This is where you select the food you eat, enter your activity, and track other intake like water, multivitamin, healthy oils, and fruit and vegetables. This screen shows how many points you’ve used today, how many you have remaining, how many weekly remaining points you have, how many activity points you’ve earned, how much activity you have remaining, and technique.

Weight Watchers Mobile was updated to Version 2.2.01 on December 20, 2012. The update made some bug fixes and more. The current version has 829 customer ratings with an average of four out of five stars.

I don’t use the Weight Watchers program but I know people who do and this app would be really helpful to someone tracking their Points. It’s free, so if you have a Weight Watchers subscription, you should give it a try.
