Sozial Connect by Marvin Schroder is an app that lets you view and control all of the most popular social media apps in one convenient app. This works for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube so you won’t have to jump around from one to the other anymore. It’s a simple little app but it works. There are other apps that act as enhancement tools for one of these major social media apps, but it’s uncommon to find an app like this that brings all of the big boys of social media together in one app. This is a free app and it’s compatible with the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
Twitter is a great tool for catching up on what’s going on in the world, Facebook is a great way to catch up with friends, and YouTube and Instagram are great ways to share videos and pictures with the world, but surfing back and forth among these different apps can be extremely time consuming. Sozial Connect eliminates this problem. It creates a simple to use interface which allows you to work with all of these different apps at the same time. No more worrying about whether or not you might have missed something on one of your other social media accounts; you just have to keep your Sozial Connect account open and you’ll never miss a thing.
There are no ads in this app to worry about and no in-app purchases. This is just a basic app developed by some students that wanted an easier way to keep track of their social media accounts. The one thing I did find a little curious was that they include a field for entering your mobile number as well as your email address during the sign up process, and yet only your email is really required. They don’t actually explain this to you: it’s just something you have to find out for yourself. If you’re concerned about privacy you’d probably prefer not to hand out your phone number, and knowing that you don’t have to a head of time is a big plus. This app will require 11.7 MB of available space on your iOS device.
Once you’ve got past the initial sign up process you can begin adding your social media accounts. The default page in the app is the Feeds page which will be empty of course when you run it for the first time. To add one of your accounts to the feed you simply tap on the menu icon in the top left corner and then tap on Sozial Connection: you’ll see the four main social media apps mentioned above and to add them to the feed you simply tap on connect and then authorize Sozial Connect for access to your account. It only takes a couple of seconds and then you can move on to the next one and repeat the process.
Once the accounts you want to add to the feed have been connected you’ll begin to see postings from your accounts right away. To interact with your account you’ll be able to use the same tools you do no. If you want to favorite a Tweet you can do that, and if you want to leave a comment on a Facebook post you can do that as well. You don’t use any of the main aspects of these apps you’re used to, you just get to view them all together.
View Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram all in one app
No ads or in-app purchases
Simple to use
Some minor privacy issues
If you’ve been looking for a simple app that can bring all of your major social media accounts together in one place then you’ll definitely want to check out Sozial Connect. This little app brings Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram together in one easy-to-use feed. There are no ads or in-app purchases to get in the way since it just does what it’s supposed to do and it does it pretty well.
