Match three puzzle games don’t have to be complicated, especially since the concept is simple. All you have to do is match three puzzle pieces. What makes them fun are the extra bells and whistles. How to Play

There are 90 different levels in this game. As you complete each level you’re slowly climbing to the top of the evil castle to recover the princess’s gems, and the princess is there to guide you along the way. It’s this background story that helps to differentiate Gems Smash a little bit from games like Candy Crush Saga – other than that, it’s very similar.

You have to move gems around the board to line up three in a row in order to clean them off the board – you can also get extra bonus points for lining up matching gems in L or T patterns. When you perform one of these more complicated moves, extra pieces are also removed from the board helping you to clear it quicker. This is a good thing as you do get bonus points for completing each board in fewer moves.  Another great thing about this game, is that it provides you with little helpful hints at the start of each board to teach you some new moves.
