Introduction

If I’m being honest, I’m normally more into the match three style games or endless runners, but Age of Wushu Dynasty is a stunning martial arts adventure that had me on the edge of my seat – I simply didn’t want to put it down.

This fighting game app is a masterpiece that explores all the potential that Apple devices offer. It’s the type of game that you’d expect to find running on a powerful platform system, or gaming PC. It does work best on more powerful devices, but I played it just fine on an older iPad with minimal issues.

Master the Martial Arts

The biggest problem that most people have with MORPG’s is that they often don’t have a lot of control over the battle scenes as these are often simulated. I also hear people complain about the lack of instructions they get in these types of games, which can be quite frustrating as they often include a huge digital universe in which you have to operate in.

Age of Wushu Dynasty addresses all of these concerns – not only do you have full control over all battle scenes you actually decide where the character moves and when and each mission is clearly explained and identified. It’s simply a masterpiece in this category of games.

Perhaps, the best aspects of Age of Wushu Dynasty are that they have stunning graphics and excellent game play. These are graphics you’d expect to find on a high-end gaming platform or gaming PC. The best part is it will work on older devices as I mentioned above – it may occasionally freeze for half a second, but it’s barely noticeable.

The currency in this game is gold coins which you can collect through completion of successful missions, or through an in-app purchase. This app will require 77.7 MB of available space on your iOS device.

How to Play

You can either create an account on Age of Wushu Dynasty using your email address or you can sign in with your Facebook account. After the initial sign-up process, the game will upload any updates and then you can begin playing.

As we’ve alluded to above, this game combines the best aspects of MORPG’s with nonstop live-action. Your adventure begins in a martial arts temple where you’re introduced to someone called the Elder that guides you through your quests.

The Temple also acts as a sort of intermission screen where you can access the shop to buy gold pieces and other power packs, as well as accessing other great features.

Once you’re ready to begin your adventure you simply tap on the quest button to get the details of your next mission. The first part of each mission begins with some basic instructions which you can advance through by simply tapping on the screen to continue the conversation – once you have all the instructions the adventure begins.

The actual adventure allows you full control with a simulated joystick in the bottom left for controlling your character's movements and different weapon controls on the bottom right for controlling your character's attacks. Each mission includes several enemies to defeat before you get to a big boss.

As you advance through the mission, the enemies get more difficult to defeat. You can also compete against other live online users in one-on-one battles. The action features stunning martial arts moves and excellent graphic effects that keep the story moving along nicely.

Final Words

Age of Wushu Dynasty is without a doubt one of the best games I’ve ever played on any iOS device. This game features stunning graphics, excellent game play, and a great storyline that will keep you riveted. If you love games with deep and rich story worlds then you’ll definitely love this one.
