Amazon Instant Video by AMZN Mobile LLC allows you to purchase and watch videos on your iPad device.

The app gives you access to 140,000 videos in the Amazon Instant Video store and thousands of movies from Prime Instant Video. Once your movie is purchased and downloaded, you'll be able to move it to the Video Library so you can use it during offline viewing mode.

If you've got a long car trip, a flight, or a train journey coming up, this is a great way to pass time since you don't need a WiFi connection to watch the videos in your library.

You can add videos you want to check out later to you Watch List so you don't have to remember the titles. The app comes with some pre-loaded video titles that you can start watching right away.

What's really cool is that it syncs between your devices so you can start watching your movie on your iPod, stop, and watch the rest on your iPad starting exactly where you left off last.

It should be noted that the app doesn't support AirPlay. This latest version has addressed some playback issues with which users were having problems.

Amazon Instant Video was updated on Jan. 24, 2013 and has 274 customer ratings with an average rating of two and a half out of five.

I really liked the convenience this app gave me, so I could take my favorite movie/TV show with me on the go. The layout was also clean looking and user friendly.
