Introduction

Discovr Music by Filter Squad Pty Ltd gives you plenty of new music to enjoy and discover on your iPad.

Instead of just a typical music app this one is able to take your own personal tastes and find music that is similar. This helps you discover new artists and bands that you may just end up adding to your favorites.

You're able to not only listen to the music but you can listen to 30-second previews first, watch the YouTube videos of the music, buy the music, and share all your new finds with your contacts on Facebook and Twitter.

If you come across an artist or band that you really enjoy you can learn more by following their tweets and reading their bios.

All you have to do is tap on a band or artist you like, then the app will then suggest others that are similar. It will show you how the two are connected and how the app came to that suggestion through a chart with images that resembles the same structure as a family tree. You’ll be able to branch out your musical tastes.

It’s really up to you just how many new artists you want to discover and learn about.

Discovr Music was updated on Dec. 30, 2012 and currently has 172 customer ratings with an average rating of five out of five stars.

I'm always open to new music and this app gave me a way to find bands and artists I would never find on my own otherwise. It's become one of my favorite find new music app.
