MLB.com At Bat by MLB.com is a sports app that is available with a $2.99 monthly subscription which gives you access to video highlights, news, live look-ins, game day audio and more for the entire 2013 MLB season including Spring Training to the World Series.
Keep in mind that while this app is free to download you will be required to pay the $2.99 subscription to use any of its features. Users will be able to access classic gams from the MLB archive giving them a nice selection of some of baseball’s most memorable games. Users will enjoy score updates when a team takes the lead and has the ability to customize the app for your favorite team.
The previous update made some improvements to the apps performance as well as some bug fixes but users are anticipating an update this month that should be adding some exciting new features and further improvements. With crisp high quality images and video, a huge archive and all the current news and information your heart desires, this is an app any MLB fan should have.
MLB.com At Bat was updated to Version 5.6.1 on November 16, 2012. It has a total of 7531 customer ratings with an average of three and a half out of
five stars. Feedback is primarily positive with most users happy with the content provided for the price. Some users have complained about the ads which they feel should not appear on a paid app. Others would like the app to provide updates with each run scored rather than only when a team takes the lead.
I am not the biggest MLB fan out there, so I am not really tempted to keep paying a subscription for this app; however, that aside, I can see why some MLB fans would be happy to do so. It is a sharp looking app with lots of beautiful content in it. If you can’t get enough MLB action then this app is for you!
