Nick Jr Draw & Play by Nickelodeon is a color and draw app featuring Nickelodeon characters.

Most kids love to draw, color, and paint and that is exactly what this app is all about. Your child can pair up with various Nickelodeon characters such Dora the Explorer, Diego, and Team Umizoomi and the Bubble Guppies.

The interface is simple and easy to use so that most any child can pick up the device and start playing with little assistance. There is also a guided-play activity that includes some picture ideas and ecards that the child can create with the assistance of the Nickelodeon characters of their choice.

There is a large selection of animated effects that can be used to add some excitement to pictures and more than 75 animated stickers, fireworks, magic wands, and more that make creating wacky images lots for fun.

Nick Jr Draw & Play was last updated to Version 1.3 on January 15, 2013 and included some performance enhancements. This app currently has 97 ratings with an average score of four out of five stars.

This is another great app that inspires and nurtures creativity in kids. Nickelodeon has several apps out that I would highly recommend and this is definitely one of them. The animated effects are a wonderful addition and the ability to print the finished pictures over AirPlay is fantastic.
