Evernote Food for iPad app review

Reviews

Evernote Food

Price: Free

Evernote Food by Evernote is designed for the "foodies" out there who want to document and save all their incredible food experiences on their iPads.

This app allows you to save the names of restaurants you've loved as well as your favorite recipes. You can also document a cooking experience you had. You can add notes and photos to all your entries so nothing goes forgotten.

Some of the things you're able to do include sharing your meals with friends by using Facebook, Twitter, or email. You can also use the app to find incredible restaurants both around the world and near you. Add these finds to your list so you don't have to try to remember them. The same goes for recipes: you can find recipes from anywhere on the Web and then save them.

This app is meant to enhance your experiences when it comes to cooking, dining, and sharing food experiences.

New features for this version include the My Cookbook option. This is what you can use to save your recipes in. The My Meals feature is meant to be a photo journal of your food experiences. Also new is the ability to document food preparation by allowing you to make notes on the steps, use photos, and captions.

Evernote Food was updated on Dec. 21, 2012 and currently has 198 customer ratings with an average rating of three out of five stars.

While some people seem to have issues with this app syncing with other devices, for me I was pretty pleased with it. I really loved being able to document my food experiences not just with text by with photos as well.

For: iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation), and iPad with iOS 6.0 or later
