Kroger Co. by The Kroger Co. is an app meant to help you shop and save at Kroger Family Stores. It was updated on July 7, 2013, and requires 11.2MB of storage space. It is available in English only at this time.

User Experience

The app was designed to offer savings and convenience to shoppers. Once you download the app, you’ll create an account, register your Shopper’s Card, and create an online shopping list. After that, you can add Weekly Ad items to your list, gain access to exclusive promotions, save money with special offers, refill prescriptions from your device, and even set a time and location where you will pick up your prescription.

Features

You will be able to use this app at Food 4 Less, Fry’s, King Soopers, Kroger, Owen’s, Baker’s, Jay C, QFC, City Market, Ralphs and Smith’s, Foods Co., Fred Meyer, and Pay Less.

You can use it to find nearby fuel centers and stores, check your fuel points, view your rewards history, and more.

The developer promises additional features like multiple shopping lists, passbook integration, the ability to save items as favorites, and the ability to save money when you buy from the Smart Suggest feature.

Update Info

Kroger Co. is running on Version 8.2.2. The latest update fixed an issue with the weekly ad feature.

Customer Ratings and Feedback Comments

The current version of the app has 31 customer ratings with an average of 2.5 out of five stars. I’m not sure where the poor ratings are coming from, because all of the feedback comments are positive, with users giving four and five out of five stars. Users ask to be able to save their favorite stores. They love being able to use it instead of a card and coupons.

I don’t shop at Kroger’s much but if I did, I’d definitely use this app. The rewards card is well-designed and the convenience this app offers is outstanding.

• You can’t load a favorite store and so have to input it every time you log in
