WEB to PDF app review: use the in-app browser to easily capture web pages to PDF format

Reviews

Introduction

What we have here is an incredibly useful app which enables you to access web pages via the in-app browser and capture content which is then converted into PDF format, providing you with a wonderfully easy way of saving web content in a matter of seconds.

I’m truly amazed by how easy this app is to use; all you need to do is load up a web page from within the app, hit the PDF capture button in the bottom right-hand corner, et voila! From here, you can even begin annotating your document in a variety of ways.

Annotate the Internet!

This really is a great tool for capturing and annotating content from the Internet. As soon as you grab a web page from a site, it will go into your documents and from here you can arrange files into separate folders to keep things nice and organized.

If you feel a little lost when you first start using WEB to PDF, you’ll be pleased to know that within the Documents section, you’ll find a 29-page Quick Start Guide that will quickly get you up to speed and help you to fill in any gaps in your understanding of the various features.

I always like to see tutorials included in productivity apps such as this, because it really shows that the developer has put a lot of time and thought into its development.

Speaking of lots of thought going into this app, if you check out the Settings menu you’ll see that you can even edit the browser start page, which I personally think is a very nice touch and is perfect for people who regularly want to capture pages from the same site.

You can also sync WEB to PDF with your Dropbox account for easy Cloud service access, and there is even a clever little button which you can tap to create a special link which, when pasted into Safari, will generate a bookmark.

With all of these features you’ll easily be able to keep all of your documents organized, which is great considering how quickly you can pull content from the web!

Final Words

This is a detailed, reliable, fantastic-looking, and easy-to-use productivity app which I would say is well worth the purchase.

I know from personal experience that copying and pasting content with Safari is an absolute nightmare, and of course you lose the page formatting and images.

With WEB to PDF, you’ll be able to grab hold of the full page and its content, and begin making annotations within literally a few seconds!
