Browz’In is the new smartphone app that transforms the mall shopping experience, giving shoppers personalized and optimized information about special offers inside the mall or shopping area.
Browz’In has been compared with WAZE and even includes interactive maps to improve navigation and help users find the stores and bargains they seek. Browz’In is the bridge connecting the consumer to the retailer, solving problems for both parties.
The retailer has products that he wants to sell, while the consumer is looking for special offers and bargains in his immediate vicinity. The app is user-led – by selecting his or her profile, the consumer defines who they are so that retailers know what offers they are open to accepting.
The purpose of Browz’In’s customer profiles is to allow individual users to categorize themselves according to the type of offers and updates that they wish to receive from retailers. The app will not collect or share personal information or behavioural data beyond this profile choice.
The 12 customer profile categories have been carefully developed through research into the types of consumers that retailers want to target. There are 6 profiles for women to choose from and 6 for men to select.
By choosing their own profiles, the users will tell retailers who they are and what they are interested in. Most are self-explanatory and allow users to define themselves predominantly by age and gender. Others describe their typical shopping behaviour.
