Project 560 is a challenge to workout 5 minutes a day for 60 days.

The P560 app provides you with 5 simple exercises, 1 minute each, with a 15 second break in between each exercise.

Project 560 is the brainchild of Sarah Philips, mother to a 3 year old, and one on the way! After many unsuccessful attempts at losing weight, Sarah realized her problem wasn't the actual exercises itself; it was developing a long term, consistent workout habit. She decided to do the "minimum effective dose" which for her was setting aside 5 minutes every day to workout, no matter what or where. Once she was able to nail that down, she lost 20 pounds within 60 days. Hence the concept of P560 was born.

P560 is built as a habit-forming app, and not another fitness app. The goal is to do a minimum of 5 minutes of exercise per day for 60 days. The workouts can be done anywhere, without any equipment, so there are absolutely ZERO excuses. It would just mean spending 5 minutes less surfing Facebook or watching TV. The workouts should be done every single day, irregardless if you were on vacation, or any where else. Simply 5 minutes a day, 7 days a week, for 60 days. No excuses.

By doing this, you'd develop a healthy exercise habit which would trickle down into other areas of your life such as eating right, getting enough sleep, and staying focused. Eventually the goal would be to make exercise a daily part of your routine similar to brushing your teeth, eating, going to the bathroom, or having a shower. It will just become a part of who you are. Once this happens, you will notice not just changes in your body, but also motivation to increase the length of your workouts. The goal of Project 560 is not the exercise itself, but creating the consistency to keep working out for the rest of your life.

The workouts consists of plyometric exercises & interval training to boost metabolism & achieve weight loss. If you are able to do more than 5 minutes, then that would be awesome but not required.
