Reverse Remote does the opposite of Apple's Remote app: it allows you to control your iPhone/iPod/iPad's music player from a computer on the same WiFi network. This is useful if your device is docked in a speaker set or stereo system.
You start Reverse Remote on your iOS device, then browse to the displayed address in your computer's web browser. Reverse Remote serves up a web page that lets you browse by playlist, artist, song, album, audiobook, composer, genre, or podcast to select tracks and then control playback in a "Now Playing" window similar to that on the iPod/iPhone.
Note that there is essentially no support for libraries accessed via iTunes Home Sharing. Reverse Remote only allows you to browse music that is locally available on your iOS device.
I can't communicate via the reviews on this page. If you're having trouble, please send an email via the address at the "Reverse Remote Support" link or post a question on the Facebook page, and I'll try to help out.
