This app trains you to lose weight according to the best seller book "The 17 Day Diet" by Dr. Mike Moreno. The training will last 50 days or more. You may lose up to 50 pounds or more. You can chat with a live diet coach online or via email.

This app is created for doctor offices to help coach obese patients on the 17 Day Diet by Dr. Mike Moreno. It will hold your hand through the 4 cycles of this diet. Many thousand patients have been coached by this app.

Everyday you are given a questionnaire with many tasks. You must fulfill them in order to comply with the 17 Day Diet. The questionnaire also explains the rules and what you should and should not do.

Since the rules in the 17 Day Diet are many, this app will serve you as a valuable coach everyday. A live diet coach is online to chat with you if you need assistance.

Cycle 1:

Cycle 1 is the strictest among all cycles. The rules of Cycle 1 dictate that you cannot consume starch, sugar, and alcohol.

Cycle 1 lasts 17 days. After you succeed in training in Cycle 1, you can expect to lose from 3 to 10 pounds.

Cycle 2:

Cycle 2 is less strict than Cycle 1. On Cycle 2, you can eat 2 servings of starch (whole grains) per day. The rules of Cycle 2 still ban you from consuming sugar and alcohol.

Cycle 2 is special, because on odd day you follow the rules of Cycle 2, and on even day you follow the rules of Cycle 1. Thus, Cycle 2 has an alternate pattern.

Cycle 2 lasts 17 days. After you succeed, you can expect to lose another 3 to 10 pounds.

Cycle 3:

Cycle 3 is more liberal than Cycle 1 and 2. On Cycle 3, you can eat 2 servings of starch per day. Furthermore, you can eat one 100-calorie snack per day, and drink 1 serving of alcohol.

Again, Cycle 3 lasts 17 days. If at the end of Cycle 3 you have not met your weight goal, then you can repeat either Cycle 1, 2, or 3.

But if you meet your weight goal at the end of Cycle 3, you can move on to Cycle 4.

Cycle 4:

Cycle 4 is a maintenance cycle. That means you do not have to lose weight here. You only need to maintain your current healthy weight.

Cycle 4 is the most liberal cycle. On this cycle, you follow the diet rules from Monday to Thursday. Then on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday you can have up to 3 freestyle meals. That means, you can eat your favorite foods 3 times a week on Cycle 4.

Cycle 4 lasts forever, because you want to maintain your healthy weight forever.
