iHypnobirthPartner was created by Psychologist and hypnatal practitioner Dr Alex McKay, hypnatal & NLP qualified Charlotte Maslen MA HONs. With six children between them they have first hand experience of the power that self-hypnosis and positive affirmations have on pregnancy and birth. They also know how important it was for their birth partners to use this type of relaxation and positive visualisation. This enabled their birth partners to also enjoy the birthing experience. Birth partners are often overlooked and this app aims to help empower them and quip them with the skills required to achieve a confident and relaxed birth partner experience.
