Sonos announced a few weeks ago that the company’s speakers would not support Apple Music when it came out, but now the two companies are trying to make nice and are working to make them compatible. According to a report by The Verge, Apple and Sonos are working together to make Apple Music usable on the speakers. The senior director for Apple Music, who used to be the head of Beats Music, Ian Rogers, said that the streaming service would make it to Sonos “ASAP” although he didn’t give a specific date, and said it wouldn’t be available at launch to Sonos users. Best estimates say that the streaming service will be available for Sonos speakers by the end of the year.
