NASM Test Prep app review: the smart way to prepare for your NASM exam 2021

Reviews

Introduction

If you’re currently studying for your NASM exam in order to become a certified personal trainer then this might just be the iPhone and iPad weightlifting app for you as it contains a whole host of questions that you can use to test yourself while expanding your knowledge and understanding of the subject matter.

The best counselling apps for the iPhone

I’m thoroughly impressed by what the developer has done with this app for weightlifters because they’ve compiled a potentially complicated set information into a wonderfully easy-to-digest format that I think should appeal to just about anyone studying for the NASM.

I do have some minor doubts regarding the accuracy of the content in this app, so you might want to look at the Pros & Cons section for more information, but aside from this I’d defintiely recommend at least checking out this free version of NASM Test Prep.

Let's take closer look at this offering through our NASM test prep app review. When done reading, let us know if you think it's one of the best iPhone apps for weightlifting or personal training.

  • Professional Development
  • Program Design
  • Training Concepts

This seems fairly comprehensive to me, and so coupled with the overall quality and crispness of the app’s design, I’d definitely say the developer has done a very good job of presenting this information in a very utilizable fashion.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Study for your NASM exam while on the go to become a certified personal trainer
  • This free version contains a sample of questions so you know what to expect from the full version
  • All of the content is stored locally on your device so there is no need for an Internet connection
  • Upgrade to the full version via in-app purchase to access more than 500 questions
  • The content is continually monitored and updated to reflect current NASM standards

Cons

  • There has been one minor complaint that I feel is worth mentioning as it may throw the accuracy of the content as a whole into question: “good quality, only problem I had was one question was telling me I was wrong when I knew the correct answer. About the heart.
Question asked, What word best describes the chamber of the heart that pumps out blood? It told me it was atrium, in the book it tells me ventricle”
