These sections are Locations, Top 100, Favorites, Custom, and More.

The Location section has the feeds sorted by state, allowing you to easily zero in on the place you'd like to tune into. The Top 100 Feeds is a better starting point, however, because it sorts the feeds by popularity, and it'll even show you the number of people listening in on the feed at any given time.

You'll be pleased to know that this app also features alpha tags and metadata for improved searchability.

Functions & Features

Once you've picked out the feed you'd like to listen to, you will be taken to the player, which is hands down one of the coolest-looking players I've seen to date. There is a digital display at the top with the name of the stream and some other details. This text is scrolling just like a real scanner, making for a really authentic experience.

Users can add certain feeds to favorites for easy retrieval, and they may also add their own stations if they can't find it in the comprehensive app database.

This app also lets you disable auto-lock so you can admire the display while your iPhone or iPad is plugged into a dock, or you may choose to avail the background support feature so the stream runs in the background while you attend to other tasks or use other apps.
