Note Anytime by MetaMoJi Corporation is a note-taking app for your iOS device.
This app is free for a limited time, so get it now. It works with the iPad mini, too.
You can take notes, sketch, add text or handwriting to photos, papers, or PDF, scale your papers up or down in size, and share to social networks.
There are four simple tools that let you sketch, write, jot, email, or send your notes off to your favorite social networks. Right now you can share directly to Twitter and Tumblr, but you can save the document and share it to Facebook from your iOS device for now. Facebook integration is coming soon.
The floating palette is a selection wheel that you can place anywhere on the document so it’s easy to use but not in your way. You can expand it for use or collapse it to work full-screen. If you want to quickly select tools from the item library, do a long press on the drawing space for a couple of seconds.
You get a bunch of different pens from which to choose, ranging from a marker to awesome Calligraphy pens. You can easily change the thickness, transparency, or color of the pen. You can buy different colors and pens in the in-app store. In-app purchases range from $0.99 to $6.99.
There are customizable layouts and backgrounds, different paper designs, cover pages, and more. You can very easily add photos to your documents from your Camera Roll or with a fresh photo. Rotate and place the photos anywhere you want within your document.
Note Anytime also lets you import, annotate, and export any PDF.
The app was updated to Version 1.2.2 on December 19, 2012. The update made various bug fixes. Note Anytime has a total of 113 ratings. The current version has six ratings with an average of 4.5 out of five stars. Feedback comments are positive.
I really like the design and layout of this app. Some of the functions can be a little tricky to figure out at first, but once you find how everything works, using it is a snap. I love how you can import photos, add text or handwriting, or just sketch or write something out. This is a very versatile note-taking app.
