Our smart phones and tablets have become indispensable tools that we simply can’t imagine living without, and this may be true, but they can also be great fun for kids as well. The App Store is full of games, educational apps, books, and puzzles for kids. With all the choice available to us it can be a little bit overwhelming at times so it’s nice when we can help point you in the direction of apps that your kids will simply love. MOVING BOOKS! Jajajajan is an app that combines all of the things the kids love – great animations, fabulous stories, and sing-along sessions. This is a free app and it’s compatible with the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
The best iPad apps for book lovers
As we’ve indicated there are hundreds, if not thousands, of apps for kids to be found within the app store – some are games, some are stories, some are sing-along apps, some are puzzles, and some are educational apps to help your children learn and grow. There may be more apps available for children than for any other age group. It’s great to have selection, but it’s also difficult to find anything of value when there’s so much you have to sort through. Let me save you some trouble, MOVING BOOKS! Jajajajan is a great choice that includes both sing-along sessions and animated story books that your kids will love.
The best iPhone and iPad apps for August 2016There are couple flaws in this app, but these aren’t huge issues. First off, it does take a while to load the app, so it may be best if you do this rather than have your kids lose interest – we’re all familiar with the short attention spans of most children. There are also ads at the bottom of the screen which are a little distracting and, oddly enough, aren’t at all geared towards children. One other thing that was a little disappointing was the fact that the app only seems to include about 10 books and 12 songs – if you visit their iTunes store they suggest that there are over 50 books to choose from. This app will require 43.5 MB and be of available space on your iOS device.
When you open the app you’ll see two main options at the top of the page: you can choose from songs, or you can choose a book. As we stated above there are about 12 songs to choose from and 10 books and depending on which category you’ve chosen each one is neatly arranged in a simulated bookshelf that’s designed to look like a castle – it’s these kinds of little details that really appeal to kids. Every page features great cartoon animations and a great soundtrack to keep your kids interest.
The best interactive books for iPadAccessing a song or a book is simple – first you have to download it by tapping on it once, but it only takes a few seconds to download. After the song or book is downloaded you simply tap on it again and your selection will play. Again, inside each song and book are great animations to keep your kids interested – once your selection is done playing you’re automatically returned to the main menu. Your kids will have a lot of fun with this one.
