Trying to find the perfect gift for friends and family can be quite a challenge – especially when you have one of those people that are almost impossible to buy for. I don’t know about you, but my dad is definitely one of those people and it can be more than a little frustrating. The best gifts apps for the iPhone 2021
Most of the time, I end up going with the gift card. However, with the right gifts app, it makes hunting for that perfect gift a little easier.
One such iPhone app for gifts that offers some promise is GiftBuster – an app that allows you to create wish lists and gift registries with ease. This is a free app and it’s compatible with the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
Keep reading our Giftbuster app review for more details about this gift app for iPhone.
There are all kinds of different wish list and gift registry apps and they all feature the same sort of tools – generally they include a catalogy of items built-in to the app, or links to various sites where you can find items to insert in your lists.Best iphone and ipad apps
GiftBuster is a little different in that it’s a sort of social media style gift registry where you can add your own gift ideas, or browse ideas that other users have posted. It’s a great way to gain a little inspiration on your gift hunt.
One of the best things about GiftBuster is that you don’t have to worry about annoying pop-ups or extreme amounts of clutter – this app features a nice clean user interface that’s easy to navigate and features simple and intuitive tools.
The one big curious omission though is that it doesn’t seem to have any sort of instructions at all. Basically, you’re left to figure things out on your own. The GiftBuster app will require 10.5 MB of available space on your iOS device.
Before you can begin using the GiftBuster app, you’ll have to sign up for an account first. You can do this by using your existing Facebook account, or you can sign up using your email account.
When you sign up, a confirmation email is sent to your registered email account – in order to begin using the app you have to activate it from this email first.
After getting the initial sign up process out of the way, you can jump right in and start using the app. The first thing you’ll notice is a quick navigation bar located along the bottom of the app. This has five main tools to choose from: home, my profile, new gift, friends, and notifications.
The home button will always return you to the main search screen where you can search through the list of gift ideas posted by other members – there’s quite a lot to choose from here.
It’s important to point out what this app isn’t though – it does not allow you to link to actual retailer websites in order to purchase items. The GiftBuster app is simply about creating lists with descriptions you create yourself and pictures that you add yourself.
To get the most out of the GiftBuster app you’ll want to tap on the friends tab in order to invite friends to use the app along with you – otherwise it’s hard to share ideas with them. When you want to add new gift items of your own that’s when you use the new gift option.
In this field you can add as much or as little information as you like, including a photo, description of the gift, the price point that the gift cells at, and the name of the store where it can be bought.
GiftBuster is a useful app if you find it hard to come up with gift ideas for friends or family members – we all have one of those on our list that’s just impossible to shop for. With this app, you can search through hundreds of gift ideas that have been posted by other members in order to gain inspiration.
It’s too bad that they don’t allow you to link to actual retailers so that you can purchase from within the app. Otherwise, it’s a pretty good effort and well worth the download.
