Easy Attendance

Price: Free

Easy Attendance by Jarrod Robinson is meant to help you stay organized and on top of record keeping when it comes to student attendance.

In order to use a record and attendance keeping tool it needs to be user-friendly, quick, and of course convenient. This app does its best to check off all the boxes and give you a simple tool that can be used by instructors and teachers.

Importing your class list can be done by a csv file from email or Dropbox or it can be added manually. Once your list is ready you can use the app to create summary reports, full semester reports, and records of missing students and daily attendance. You can personalize the settings for statuses to ensure the information you want to track is included.

You can create random groups and teams that can hold up to 30 students per group. This is a great tool when you need to randomly break students up. As well you can use the app to record observations and notes about students, which can then be emailed to colleagues or parents.

Under each student’s name you can add details such as their home phone number, parent’s names, parents email, and more. Again you can customize these details to your liking.

Easy Attendance was updated on Apr. 2, 2013 and currently has 13 customer ratings with an average rating of four and a half out of five stars.

This offers instructors and teachers a very convenient way to keep track of student's attendance records. I like that the app went further though allowing you to add in details and notes and really customize it for what you need.
