The Magazine. by Marco Arment is a variety style magazine that is filled with all kinds of interesting stories.

This variety magazine is intended for those with a curiosity about life in general and for the geeks. You'll find full-length feature stories on all kinds of different subjects. What's really incredible is that there are no ads in the publication because it's completely funded by subscribers.

Each issue is packed full of articles, illustrations, photography, and letters to the editor. If you want to write a letter to the edit you can do so through the menu by tapping on "Write Letter to Editor." You never know, yours may just appear in print.

The latest version addressed a variety of bug fixes and now allows you to email content.

Browsing through the magazine is simple and the photography displays quite well as do the illustrations. You're able to adjust the font size to suit your reading needs.

Downloading the app is free then you can sign up for a subscription. The issues are $1.99 per month and include a free seven-day trial in that subscription. The free trial gives you full access to all the back issues as well. Subscriptions feature auto-renewal.

The Magazine. was updated on Mar. 9, 2013 and currently has 40 customer ratings with an average rating of four and a half out of five stars.

This is one of those quirky, fun, and intriguing reads that are hard to come by. The content really stands out and the user interface is very simple and friendly.
