User Experience
The app gives you a high-intensity workout that uses bodyweight exercises to get you in shape. This is perfect for anyone who is short on time or doesn’t have a gym membership. It would also be great for people traveling with no access to weights or cardio machines.
When you first launch the app you’ll see a list of the 12 exercises: jumping jacks, wall sits, push-ups, abdominal crunches, step-ups onto a chair, squats, triceps dips on a chair, planks, high knees running in place, lunges, push-ups and rotations, and side planks.
When you click on one of the exercises you’re taken to a description page where you get detailed instructions on how to perform the exercises, as well as a YouTube video that shows you the move.
At the bottom of the launch page is a button to start your workout. After you click it, you’re given a countdown to get ready and then you start. Make sure you have a chair or stool and a wall you can use. You get 30 seconds to do each exercise and 10 seconds rest between each exercise.

This is a really simple, well laid-out exercise app. It’s great for beginners or advanced users alike, and especially helpful for those who have no special equipment or just don’t have time to get to a gym. I don’t see that it would necessarily replace a regular gym workout but it is definitely a good supplemental plan.
It’s really easy to use and follow and I especially like the voice prompts so I don’t have to constantly look at my iPhone to see what’s next.
