Earth School 2 - Space Explorer, Star Discovery and Dinosaur games for kids is an iPhone and iPad app that allows your child to explore the solar system learning that the comets brought water to Earth, connect the dots constellations, and more.
Earth School 2 is a solar system exploration and teaching tool that provides your child with 12 activities to do. The first is a comet catching activity where you must redirect them to Earth to fill the oceans with water. Next you unlock an activity to connect the dots to reveal constellations. My six-year-old found this on my iPad before I was ready to review, and she must have sat playing it for over an hour before she moved on to the next app. She was talking about the comets, the planets, and learning as she went. She was even trying to teach her 2-year-old sister. It was a great thing to watch.
This is the free version of the app, and there are in-app purchases. The first four of the 12 activities are unlocked and ready for you to play, and if you want to get the full version for your little astronaut, it would be worth the while. The fact that my daughter learned so much and played with four activities for that long indicates that the developer did their job. They kept her engaged, and she learned a lot from the app too.

Play with Your Child
Earth School 2 provides a perfect opportunity to play with your child. If they are a young learner, then you can help them count the numbers, suggest that they tap the comets to get them to earth, and more. Often parents forget that engaging in an app with your child is worthwhile. Don’t assume that you can sit your child down with iPad and let them go play on their own. Kids require direction and instruction initially, plus the one-on-one parent time is invaluable.
Lots of great additional activities should you purchase the in-app add-on
Earth School 2 - Space Explorer, Star Discovery and Dinosaur games for kids is a great iPad and iPhone app to help your child learn about the solar system. Not only will it help them learn, it will make them want to learn. Of her own free will, my daughter discovered this app on my iPad and played it for over an hour teaching her little sister as she went. I loved listening to them play school while I was working, and the fact that they could sit there for so long shows just how well-developed this app is.
