My Little Pony: Ruckus Reader by Ruckus Media Group is a fun adventure read-along featuring My Little Pony.

This app is a great start for beginning readers. Featuring the Ruckus Reader, the iReader series of stories are an interactive and educational experience that children will love. There are several different stories that can be downloaded from within the app that each provide a unique experience.

This app is full of activities and mini games that are part of the story adventure. There are word hunt games, hidden pictures, and mazes that help children to develop work recognition and vocabulary skills as they follow along with the storyline.

The app is designed to be easy to navigate, allowing young children to be able to start their own stories without having to have an adult assist. The images are all kid friendly animation style and the read along voices are friendly and up-beat.

While the app initially only includes the story Things That Go Bump in the Night you can purchase other stories from within the app; each are sold individually. There are several to choose from such as Twilight Sparkles Special Lesson and Rarity Loves Fashion.

This app is a great educational tool that children can use early on for reading and vocabulary growth. I love these types of follow along stories where my daughter can interact on her own which gives me a bit of time to get other things done.
