Josip Broz Tito app review: a history lesson difficult to find somewhere else
Introduction
There is a lot to learn from history. Most of these lessons you will have learned in school, but some of the more controversial lessons you will probably not have had. It’s surprising how little we actually get taught about one of the most prominent times of the last century, the Cold War. We all know this was all about the arms race between the United States and the Soviet Union, but not many people know there were a lot of other players on the field during this stressful part of the twentieth century. Developer Undabot d.o.o. agrees with this statement and developed an app to teach us a bit more about this turbulent time, focusing on one person in particular, who is also the namesake of the app: Josip Broz Tito, the leader of former Yugoslavia during the Cold War. The app is only compatible with iPad.

Design and Usability
The first thing that you will notice when you boot up the app is that the design of the app is absolutely stunning. The developer really spent a lot of time designing this app and the result is breathtaking. The app is also very easy to use, and completely navigable using the touch screen. The app is easy to read and has tons of beautiful photos that are nicely blended into the design of the app. In terms of design and usability, this must be one of the best history and reference apps I have ever seen, and just to take a look at it is worth the download.

Content
The app consists of 14 different chapters, all highlighting another part of Tito’s turbulent life. Some of it will be focused on the Cold War struggles, but others are about Tito and his women, Tito and other dictators around the world, and finally of course a chapter about Tito and his views on communism. Not all these chapters are for free though. The app comes with a free sample chapter, but the rest need to be bought. These chapters are $0.99 each, but are all as well-designed as the one you get for free.

Conclusion
When I saw this app, I thought it was quite strange that one man in history deserves an app solely dedicated to his life, but after trying this app out I am actually convinced more of these famous people deserve an app like this. Even though the man isn’t well known all over the world, he played a big part in the Cold War, and there is a lot to learn from this app. The app is beautifully designed and really easy to use. The app is only available for iPad and is just over 100 MB.
