Many Themes of Vehicles

My Vehicle Universe has many different themes of vehicles. There are eight categories: Transport, Emergency, Boats, and Sports are unlocked for free, and Planes, Family Cars, Space, and Building are paid.

The Transport includes a taxi, city bus, school bus, limousine, street car, and a go train. Each vehicle is moving, and some are moving at a pretty good speed. This means that even I had trouble catching the silhouettes of some!

In the Emergency category, the Ambulance is going quite fast, and I had to wait for four passes before I finally caught it! This is good though, because it means that there is additional challenge, and also a realistic portrayal of how the vehicles move through the city.

The Garbage Truck is emptying trash, the Tow Truck is towing, and the Ambulance is speeding to an emergency.

Match the Driver

My Vehicle Universe has an additional level of puzzle fun. When you have matched all the vehicles to their silhouettes, you then match the drivers. This is great fun because your child has to not only recognize the vehicles and their role, but also must recognize the workers.

I am also extremely happy that they used people from multiple ethnicities. Many apps are very white-centric, but there are people from all backgrounds represented in this app.

As communities become more multicultural, our children’s apps need to do so too to accurately represent their neighborhoods. I love that this app takes this responsibility seriously, and it is one of the few that I have seen that does this.

Our communities are multicultural, and children’s apps need to be too. Overall, I would recommend this app to preschool children for learning community vehicles, and how to recognize the drivers. There are many different categories of transportation, and this app does a great job of representing them.

The moving puzzle is a new touch, and I like it. It adds a level of difficulty that isn’t in many other apps. Definitely worth trying out!
