We've come across a game that is filled with epic real-time battle action that is as addictive as it is challenging, making use of spells. The Spells Arena app for your iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone will have you challenging the gods and battling against other players making use of spells. If you'd rather not play in real-time against other players you can also use the AI mode that is filled with challengers. The graphics in this game will blow you away and the entire package feels unique, modern, and very high-tech.
The Spells Arena is one in which players can choose to battle the computer in AI mode and take on the 20 different opponents all with different personalities and difficulty levels, or you can play in real-time against friends. The game uses physics and some rather high tech graphics that will capture your attention from the moment you launch it. The way it works is that each player has three gems and each of these gems has its very own spell. You need to draw the signs in order to activate that gem's spell. These gems can then be used to light the portal stars which gives you the opportunity to unlock even more spell signs.
This game has just been updated with some minor bug fixes and there are now new ways to use the controls when fighting; you can now swipe the screen. The app requires iOS 7.0 or later to use and doesn't yet have a customer rating or comments.
The game uses realistic physics
It should be noted that the Spells Arena can be played on older generation devices but if you want to have all the effects available to you then you'll need to use the newer devices. The app has a really engaging story line that draws the player in and makes you feel invested in the gameplay right from the start. You've got the option of using the gesture sign draw mode or the swipe mode and you have three characters to choose from when you play. The app supports the Game Center and the Leaderboards for that extra push of a challenge. There are over 30 spells you can use and there are three different levels of proficiency to explore. You'll start as the apprentice, then a sorcerer, and then a warlock. Each one increases in difficulty.
