This app is a ground breaking idea in a very simple package. The developer hasn’t tried to create anything fancy, just a basic app that can help you obtain some valuable advice on medical questions you may have.

The only criticism I have of this app is that it might be just a little too simplistic. There are no categories to choose from, no list of potential symptoms that you might have; it really is very basic. On the other hand the intention of the developers may have been that it would be best to have you describe your symptoms in your own words without the potential for bias that might be present if you’re given a list of options to choose from. This app is completely ad free and has no noticeable glitches. This app will only require 1.3 MB of free space on your iOS device.

How it Works

The first time you open the app you’ll be required to register before you can start using the app so you’ll be asked some basic personal and medical questions that will help the pharmacists in answering your questions. Once you’ve completed the form you’ll be sent an activation code and you can begin using the app. After that you’re free to ask whatever health questions have been on your mind.

Using the app really is very simple. There are only a couple of fields on the main screen of the app; the first is a text box where you can enter your medical question, the second is a field where you can add an image of your symptoms for the pharmacist to consider, and the third is a button you can tap to request an actual call back from a pharmacist. That’s all there is to this app as it’s about as basic as an app can get. Best of all you do get a quick reply, when I submitted a medical question I received an answer the same day and the answer was very helpful.
