iExit Interstate Exit Guide by Metrocket, LLC is a guide that gives you information about exits on the interstate.

The GPS route tracker tells you in real time which exits you are approaching as you travel along the interstate. It also keeps you informed as to which amenities are available at each exit.

Do you hate when you are traveling along and need to stop for something but aren’t sure which exit to take to find what you need? This app groups all of the different types of locations from Wal-Marts, to washrooms, to the various types of restaurants by which exit they are located at along the interstate.

The easy-to-read interface shows each exit along your route by exit number, street name, and distance from your current location. Along the bottom of each exit indicator is a series of icons depicting the available amenities. The app does require that your device have GPS capability.

iExit Interstate Exit Guide also lets you filter the results to only show you the places you might want to go. You can also save your favourite places for quick reference the next time you’re out on that route. In some cases the app will even give you pricing for selected overnight accommodations and then guide you to your choice.

This GPS route tracker app is a huge time saver for any traveller. I like how easy it is to find exactly what I’m looking for in seconds. It saves me from guessing, or trying read the interstate signs as I’m driving along. Do remember to pull over before using your hand held device!
