Forces and processes that shaped the geology of the park are illustrated and described. A Geologic Map and Stratigraphic Column for the park are included.
THE TOUR TAB
A Quick Tour of the park allows you to view photos of many of the park features as if you were driving along the roads in the park. A list of locations is provided so you can easily find the feature of interest. Several photos have additional annotations to help illustrate the geology.
THE MAP TAB
This tab provides the National Park Service park map and the corresponding USGS topographic map. The maps can be enlarged for more detail. Touch points on the map display photos of the features along with the narration from the Tour section.
