Set the automatic blocking to "Never" through the Settings.
Touch the icon of the application and put your IPhone or IPod in your trousers' pocket, better in front (empty) pocket.
You can walk or run,pedometer will count your steps and your lost calories.
Accuracy is high, regardless of whether you go or run.
The error is from 0 to 10%.
The pedometer counts enough good in coat pocket and in back pocket too, but that is more individually, because the amplitude is not so large.
100 or 200 steps are best for testing.
