In 20 interviews, a range of Helsinki-based cultural movers and shakers take the reader on a journey into the city’s different neighborhoods, to their studios and homes. 12 inspiring essays reflect on the essence of Helsinki, encompassing topics from street art to city planning.
The app features 330 colour images from around the city as well as designers’ and artists’ studios and homes. The map locates over 300 picks for the best restaurants, museums, shops and sites.
The app is based on a book published by WSOY. The book was chosen as one of the most beautiful books of the year 2011 in Finland.
