Visually compelling mandalas set the stage for a new meditation experience that helps you find balance and control stress. Presented in true and vivid colors, mandalas created from photographs of familiar and exotic flowers are the starting point for a modern approach to meditation.
Stress starts when you're young and continues into adulthood. Meditations can help you cope with stress, improve your health and even open up your creativity.
Meditation in the 21st Century means offering options. That’s how we designed Meditations---with multiple features that you can conform to your needs---and that will help you meditate regularly.
You have the ability to create as many meditations as you like---using the mandalas, the included music and nature sounds. Or you can turn to a unique feature that lets you access your own music library to add a song, an album or a playlist to a meditation you’ve designed.
You’re in control with Meditations. Using any or all of the twenty-one mandalas you can create custom meditations that suit your needs. You might want to create meditations for “Work’s Driving Me Crazy and I Need a New Attitude” or a “Be in the Present Moment” or “Transition from Work to Home Life”. They will always be available in the app---it saves all the meditations you create.
Meditations is great at home or on the go. As a mobile companion you can turn to one of your meditations whenever and wherever needed---the waiting room at the doctor’s office, waiting in line---or use it at home every morning or evening as part of a regular meditation practice.
Music and nature sounds included in the app:
“Ave Maria O Auctrix Vite” by Hildegard von Bingen, Medieval composer and mystic.
“Kundalini Drum”, “Daybreak Appears”, “Nightflyer” by New Age recording pioneers David and Steve Gordon, founders of Sequoia Records.
“Relaxing Rainstorm” and “Soothing Ocean Waves” recorded at Point Reyes, California.
To get you started we’ve included three “Ready to Use” meditations plus two Guided Meditations. You also get affirmations and reminders.
On the iPhone, the ringer must be turned on, and on the iPad the mute button must be in the off position to be able to enjoy the music and nature sounds.
No internet connection required to use Meditations.
Optimized for Retina Display.
