OwnTracksCTRL displays the current location and historic tracks of OwnTracks devices. The data is obtained by subscribing to an MQTT channel. The configuration is automatic provided at logon.
Vehicles are shown with
- their two-letter initials,
- a colored circle indicating moving (green), stationary (blue) or unknown (red)
- a blue dot indicating the direction of movement
- a tachometer display in red indicating the current speed
Tapping on a vehicles selects it. Tapping the track symbol loads the tracking points.
A list view of all vehicles is available. Tapping on a vehicle returns to the map, selects the vehicle and centers the map.
Tapping on the organize button lists the available tracking points sorted by date and time and grouped by date in an indexed table view. The tracking data is shown in coordinates and as human readable addresses provided by reverse geocoding.
The map can be zoomed out to show all vehicles.
The map mode can be switched between standard, satellite and hybrid.
The app may receive alarm messages via MQTT or Push Notifications.
