Benley’s latest ad, “Intelligent Details,” was shot and edited entirely on the iOS platform. The iPhone 5S was used for shooting the ad, with the help of iPhone lenses and mounts. The content was then transferred to an iPad Air, where it was edited using the iMovie iOS software. The filmmakers were essentially able to carry out their editing in the back seat of their car - a huge difference to the typical editing process that can only be done effectively at a desktop computer with lots of power.
Burberry used the iPhone 5S to shoot one of their fashion shows back in September. The 5S has also been used in the documentary “Searching for Sugar Man.” The iPhone 5S has one of the best cameras on a smartphone (perhaps only coming second to Nokia’s high-end flagships).
