According to KGI analysts, Apple’s iWatch device may be delayed until 2015 due to the fact that it needs a whole new manufacturing method and new parts, which make it difficult to produce. Of course, KGI could be wrong. Let’s face it: analysts make a lot of predictions all the time, but more often than not, they’re wrong. Having said that, KGI has a fairly good track record when it comes to these things. Analysts there are basing their comments on talks had with Asian suppliers for Apple’s devices. KGI’s top analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, was right before about Apple using Sapphire glass on the iPhone 5S’s home button, and was also right about the gold iPhone. KGI said they are sure Apple is going to release a smartwatch, they just believe it probably won’t be available for sale until next year. Keep in mind that Tim Cook has promised an all-new product this year; however, he didn’t say we’d be able to buy it, just that they would “offer” it. Some people might translate that into “show off and offer advanced sales, but product won’t ship out until 2015.”
