Psychologist goes up against Apple after she lost her agenda

A psychologist from Quebec, Canada went to small claims court on Thursday to sue Apple Canada after she lost her agenda. She lost almost two months of her calendar for a temporary period and says she missed appointments and lost clients as well as time when her agenda disappeared. She spent 27 hours on the phone with Apple to try to get her calendar back. She also lost all of her contacts. Maisonneuve took Apple Canada to court for $13,400 for damage to her reputation, loss of business, and her time on the phone. She didn’t like how Apple handled the matter, so decided to sue.

Apple’s in-house lawyer Brian Feeley went to court but did not question Maisonneuve or present any evidence. The company offered the psychologist two new iPods, two new iPads, a new iPhone, and a new MacBook Air.
