IBM pairing up with Apple on an AI health program

IBM has made an announcement saying that it is teaming up with Apple and other companies to use AI to collect insights from the health data gathered on personal devices. On Monday, IBM said it’s working with Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic, and Apple to use the Watson artificial intelligence system to give its users advice gathered from the information collected from smartphones, fitness trackers, and smartphones. This will also be able to tie in with digital medical records to be shared with healthcare providers. IBM wants to create a platform to enable all that information to be shared.
